Our professional tree trimming service is designed to maintain the health and beauty of your trees. We have the expertise to carefully shape and trim your trees to ensure they continue to thrive. We are trained and qualified to crown lift, crown thin and carry out crown reductions. Tree pruning works can dramatically improve the available light around a tree. Tree pruning should be carried out to best industry standard, to prevent damage to the trees.
We can offer advice with trees located in the Highland Council conservation areas, planning conditions, and also trees with preservation orders. Sharpe Tree Services can submit the relevant paperwork to the Highland Council for the proposed work.
Tree Removal
When it's time to remove a tree, our expert team is here to help. We provide safe and efficient tree removal services for trees of any size. Whether it's due to disease, storm damage, or other reasons. We are utility trained arborisits, so we can remove trees adjacent to power lines and telephone cables. Sharpe Tree Services can remove any type of tree, from gardens, forestry and commercial sites.
Emergency Tree Work
Sharpe Tree Services are available 24 hours, 7 days a week, to remove and clear fallen or damaged trees.
Chainsaw Training And Maintenance Course
Sharpe Tree services offer a short chainsaw training course, designed to give basic knowledge in the maintenance and care of a chainsaw. The training does not give any qualification, the training is simply designed to show the customer how to safely use, maintain, and service a chainsaw.
The course offers:
- Basic chainsaw maintenance and servicing
- Advice and training on chain sharpening and bar care
- Safe use of the chainsaw
- Firewood cutting and log splitting advice
- Basic chainsaw cuts in timber
- Personal protective equipment advice
- How to repair simple faults
- Fuel oil mix and bar and chain lubrication
- A guide to chainsaws and equipment to purchase
- Trouble shooting of a non running chainsaw
- Answering any questions the customer has
The training is not structured, the course is based around the customers own requirements.

Firewood Sales
Sharpe Tree Services Ross-Shire supply hardwood and softwood timber. We deliver our timber in various sized sections of timber, from 6" large round sections, and 3-4ft lengths, of various diamaters.
We deliver with a 2.7 Ton tipping trailer, with an average load of 2 Ton of timber. We do not produce firewood size timber, the loads we sell, will need to be cut and split to make firewood.

Hardwood Timber £90.00
Deliver is free to most areas, but some areas may have a delivery charge added.
